The public is invited to join the fair shire folk of Dragon's Mist at the first Demo day of the year.  This event is located at McMenamins Grand Lodge and is held on the vast front lawn in front of the lodge.  Expect shire member demonstrations, fighters, merchants, music & other entertainments. Visit the event's website for more information. We would like you to be a participant in the demo portion of the event, Contatct Svava the Demo Coordinator for more informaion. We would really like to have more heavy fighters again this year, as the public was enthralled at last year's event watching the fighters competing.  There is credible rumor that the heavy fighter that gains the title this year will win a glorious prize worth the taking as McMenamins has graciously offered a lodging package at the Grand Lodge!

This popular demo has introduced hundreds of people to the SCA and induced many to garb up and come on out to an event. While we play in the Current Middle Ages, as an educational organization, this is where we raise public awareness of the color and richness of medieval culture. And we have a lot of fun doing it! Several shires and baronies have been invited to come participate!
