Greetings Unto the Populace of
Dragon's Mist and the Rivers Region!

Your presence, your skills, and a few brief hours of your time are greatly needed to make a success of the...

FOURTH ANNUAL MEDIEVAL MARKET
at Beaverton Farmer's Market.
September 22, 2007 @ the Beaverton Farmer's Market - 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This popular demo has introduced hundreds of people to the SCA and induced many to garb up and come on out to an event. While we play in the Current Middle Ages, as an educational organization, this is where we raise public awareness of the color and richness of medieval culture. And we have a lot of fun doing it!

Go HERE for the event map & directions.

By now you've heard: There are five competing events that weekend, from Kingdom Bardic and Stromgard Rapier/Youth/Equestrian to Flock and Fiber in Canby and the Portland Pirate Festival. Not a problem!! Come for the whole event if you can, but if it's what you can do, give us a couple of hours in the morning, have breakfast or lunch at the market, and then go on to your afternoon event.

VOLUNTEERS (still) NEEDED IN ALL AREAS, but especially fighters, fencers, marshalls, waterbearer, cooks, entertainers and craftspersons of all kinds, including but by NO means limited to heralds, musicians, storytellers, armor and mail-making, archery and other weapons, FOOD, glass painting, pottery, embroidery, beading, embroidery, sewing, spinning, weaving, FOOD, calligraphy, illumination, bookbinding, leatherwork, etc. Did we mention FOOD?! Set-up, tear-down, clean-up. With your help, it will be a GREAT day!
