Summer Heavily Armored Combat and Rapier Combat Practices at Beaverton's Greenway Park every week Sunday, 2 pm - 5 pm. Look for the concrete basketball court. (every week - through the end of the Summer) The park is located at 8350 SW Greenway BLVD.
This is a large, oddly shaped park, so we advise you to contact the Shire marshal, before going there the first time, to get better directions. Be sure to check the calendar for dates.
The Barony holds Target Archery Practices for Adults and Children. During the summer season, practice is held at Washington Park every week. Washington Park is located off of US-26 Highway. The Park's Archery range is half way between the Zoo and the Rose Gardens (don't blink, you may miss it).
UPDATE: Archery practices have changed to WINTER HOURS - Saturdays at 3pm.
The winter season practices will be held at EITHER Washington Park (as weather allows) or at indoors at Archers Afield. We will try to meet at Washington Park as long as it is possible and still enjoy ourselves. When the weather turns too disagreeable, practice will be moved to the indoor range at Archer's Afield in Tigard. Click HERE for google map.
Also, a new Yahoo Group has been dedicated to Dragon's Mist Archery called DM-Archery Click HERE for the Yahoo group. Use the yahoo group to check for last minute changes or notices and any additional details that may crop up. You may also contact the archery officers by email.
We have a weekly get-together on Friday Nights. Be sure to check the calendar for the schedule for the next few months. Please let Matilda know if you have any questions as we would like to know if you plan on attending revels and/or have activities you'd like to share. We maintain a calendar of activities and coordinates dance practice for those who'd like to learn. Newcomers are most welcome to Friday revels at the Beaverton Community Center.
